The story
Notice every character's choices.
King Parīkṣit was a brave and dharmic king. He was the grandson of Arjuna, and Bhagavān Śrī Krishna protected him before he was born. One day, near the Sarasvatī River, Parīkṣit saw a man named Kali hurting a white bull while a cow cried nearby. The bull represented Dharma and the cow represented Mother Earth. The bull's four legs represented truthfulness, cleanliness, compassion, and self-discipline. Parīkṣit did not ignore the suffering. He courageously stepped forward to protect the innocent animals. The wise bull did not quickly blame anyone for his pain. He understood that suffering can have many causes, including ignorance and past karma.
